In a welcoming villa from the late 1700s on Lake Maggiore, we rent three apartments to offer you an unforgettable stay. Discover the history of this hidden corner.

The Hosts

We are a mother and two daughters, proud of our home and happy to share it with others. We love traveling too, and when we're away, the first thing we look for is cleanliness followed by comfort - these are the fundamental principles of our apartments. Our hosting philosophy is to make people feel at home, as one of our guests said: "Home away from home."

Enrica, proud of her home, lover of travel, opera, and flowers which she tends to with passion, is the historical memory and soul of Villa Ombrosa. Always attentive, she never stops ensuring your stay is as pleasant as possible.

Paola, avid reader and deep connoisseur of the territory which she has explored on walks with her beloved dog Django, you'll always find her at the Villa. You can rely on her for any suggestions to best organize your visits to the surroundings and for any needs during your stay.

Roberta, animal and music lover with a passion for rock and opera, always interested in learning about different cultures' values and customs. While she's not often at the Villa, she'll always be by your side for availability, bookings, and ensuring you have no worries during your stay.

Accommodation was super, big size bedroom, kitchen very well equipped you can find anything you need, I mean anything!!! Paola communication was great, very clear instructions, great recommendations.

Great functional apartment, close to all amenities, with very welcoming hosts. Although the accommodation is located behind a paper factory, we weren't disturbed by its activity. Moreover, the presence of a stream adjacent to the house creates a very relaxing atmosphere. 100% recommended!

I think it's one of the best houses I've ever encountered in my entire life, everything is perfect, nothing is missing, and to top it off, the hosts are 100% friendly, attentive, communicative - in other words, lovely people, 100% recommended.

Clean apartment, tidy and with everything needed, actually very well equipped. It's in a perfect and strategic position to visit the lake locations. Our big dog really appreciated your well-maintained garden. For us it was a relaxing and pleasant weekend away from Milan's heat. It was really nice here, very pleasant climate. Wir haben die gut ausgestattete Küche täglich benutzt und immer im Garten gefrühstückt. Die Villa ist sehr gepflegt. Nach 4 von 10 Tagen bekamen wir frische Bettwäsche und Handtücher. 😃 An der benachbarten Papierfabrik haben wir uns nicht gestört. Das Rauschen des Bachs hat mich tief und ruhig schlafen lassen. Bei geschlossenem Fenster hört man ihn kaum. Bestes Preis - Leistungsverhältnis... Das Kochen am Gasherd hat viel Spaß gemacht. Wir wurden sehr herzlich aufgenommen und der Abschied fiel uns nicht leicht. Die Villa ist sehr gut gelegen für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung. Paola gab uns Gutscheine und Empfehlungen für Restaurants - es waren die Besten, z.B. Il Gatto blu 😋. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

We had a great stay in this beautiful house, very well positioned to explore Lake Maggiore. The apartment is spacious, very clean, well equipped (dishwasher, toaster, washing machine, etc.) and stays cool, which must be pleasant in mid-summer. The house has a nice garden with tables for outdoor dining with the pleasant sound of a stream flowing right next door. There's a large supermarket nearby and highway access just a few kilometers away. I recommend it!
